Community Barbeque Hosted by First Spanish American Baptist Church in Nashua, NH

First Spanish American Baptist Church hosted a Community Barbeque over the summer. People came and ate free hot dogs and hamburgers, and some people stayed through the entire barbecue. They received a grant from the Church Renewal Fund to give out Bibles as well.

Rev. Isabel Rivera, the pastor of the church, said, “The people in the community were very happy and thankful for sharing a wonderful time. We passed out bibles and we also had many American people too. They wanted bibles in English but we didn’t have any. I promised them that we will for next year.  People were stopping in their vehicles asking for food and there was a traffic jam as well.  I’d like to thank Dale Edwards for helping out and making this possible for this community, where there is a lot of needy people. Most of all I thank God for bringing the people.  Also, we had fruit from the activity and a couple people were saved the next day.”
